The Otago Kendo Club (Dunedin) is a fully affiliated club in the New Zealand Kendo Federation. It was began as a satellite club to Invercargill Kendo Club on the 7th March 2006 by Tatsuya Fukuda (5th Dan). On the 12th of August 2018, Otago Kendo Club become fully affiliated with the New Zealand Kendo Federation and at the time was led by Darryl Tong, Tasha Derrett and Robin Hanson. We have since been joined by Alan Stephenson (7th Dan) and Naoko Stephenson (5th Dan) who have helped and continue to help members of the Otago Kendo Club take their kendo skills to even greater heights.
